GOOD TIMES
Today i had a lovely surprise , I had a message in my space and it was from an old little friend of mine. Hazim,When i first met him in kindergarten He was such a quiet boy , very smart and extremely polite
He was the perfect student when he was in my classroom. I had no bad comments about him . The funny thing was that at the time I would talk about all those naughty students but the good ones they were such a pleasure that sometimes i overlooked them. He was one of them . I only noticed him when his parents told me how much he admired me and how he thought i was a good teacher then i made it a point to get to know him more. Indeed he was an extra ordinary boy . Tidy in his work and always in good behavior .We worked all year in the class room and at the end of the year we were to put up a performance and i wanted him and all the students to shine so we decided to practice a ballroom dance . The last 3 months were the worst . I put them up for practice from morning till noon again and again till all the steps were learned . I put an extra effort on their costumes then the day came and they were the most beautiful performance i have ever put up. I was so proud of them . I coupled them accordingly to what i thought will be a perfect couple and they were. God only knows where most of them r now but he remembers me year after year. I have seen him grow into a handsome young man and what is most amassing is that his partner Yaya is still his best friend and they r still very good friends.He got to me for his loyalty and respect and i got to him just with a simple touch i gave him one morning when i said "Good boy " He is a dear student to me and now a good friend and i hope one day i will be a good memory for him. Yaya still remembers me too .She is talented as i could tell in the conversation we had the 3 of us and she has become a good girl too.Hazim and Yaya i wish u all the best and i pray that one day u will know how much u mean to me..
